Hi, I’m Christine – creator, baker, decorator, dreamer, doer and teacher at Trendy Cakes. I’m so excited that you want to start baking too. Or if you are already a confident baker – that you want to try out some of my personal recipes.

I have spent the last 27 years working at the Ritz Carlton Hotel here in Laguna Niguel, California and have met some of the industry’s most celebrated pastry chefs over the years and seen the caliber of their work firsthand so when I say you have gift, you can rest assured my opinion is based on years of observation of the very best in this field. Your beautiful cake creations demonstrate you have a special gift. It will remain with you throughout your life and will be there if and when you are ready to exercise it again !!

A little bit about Trendy Cakes...

I started baking when I became a stay-at-home-mummy to our two little boys and had my first paid order in 2013.

I quickly discovered that I had a real knack for baking and getting the perfect result every time.  I operated as Trendy Cakes until May 2019.  In that time, the business outgrew my capacity and the capacity of my kitchen. Even with a casual employee coming in weekly, I still had to work late into the night to get everything done…

Let’s just say that things had to change, and I made the decision to stop baking for others, and instead share the knowledge that I have gained over the years.

Christine is not only amazingly talented at making beautiful and awe-inspiring cakes but every cake I have ever gotten from her has been mouth-wateringly delicious. Especially those mud-cakes, I mean dayumm! And if you've ever had the pleasure of ordering a white chocolate mudcake from her you'll understand my obsession. Every birthday cake I've ever ordered from Trendy cakes has not only blown people away by how detailed and beautiful they were but have also been hailed as "the best cake ever" by everyone lucky enough to have a taste before I devoured it. And she very recently did our wedding cake and a decadent assortment of desserts for the dessert bar and that had everyone huddling around that table instead of the dance floor! Thank you for always providing beautiful and delicious cakes. And thank you for adding to our special day over the weekend and providing all those amazing desserts. Trendy Cakes is my go-to recommendation for cakes and dessert!
